IFPA Virginia State Championship – February 11th, 2017

The 2016-17 IFPA Virginia State Championship will be held February 11th, 2017 at the House of Stone in McLean, Virginia. The top 16 players in Virginia will compete in a single-elimination tournament, best of 7 match format.

Doors open at 11am
Practice begins at 12pm
Tournament starts at 2pm
Entry fee is $30
$100 goes towards the IFPA National Championship prize pool
$160 goes towards food and beverages
$220 goes towards the prize pool
1st place $100, 2nd place $70, 3rd place $50
3rd and 4th place will play a best of 3 tie-breaker

Format

Players will be seeded based on their State rankings position
Top seeded player will have choice of game or order for 1st game
Loser of each game will have the subsequent choice of game or order of the next game
Each player may practice each game for 30 seconds before every game
